Born and raised Palmer, Alaska. Lindra is a professional artist with a love for adventure.
Baccalaureate in Contemporary and Fine art.
2013 Congressional award winner in photography.
Thirteen years experience as a body painter.
Being passionate about alternative lifestyles she set out on her first adventure. Self Converting a Chevy passenger van to become her full-time home. Lindra has now been on the road for eight years. From Alaska to Mexico, She has driven over 160,000 miles creating art about her travels, experiences and inner reflections. of being on the road.
Lindsey’s paintings focus on surrealist self portraits. Her art paints a picture of breaking the cycles of depression, drastically changing your life and what its like to leave everything behind to find yourself.
After 13 years of vending Alaska’s festivals with her body paint business Originaldoodle Body Art. Lindra has decided to share her personal artwork with the world. Creating her first sticker design on a beach in San Diego in 2018. She is now expanding her collection of artworks. Finding passion in organic fibers and natural dyes. Lindra prides herself on rigorous sourcing standards including: fair wages, organic natural fibers, farmer empowerment, biodegradability and water consumption. She has offered a wide array of plant dyed textiles, apparel, art prints, craft kombucha, and stickers.
She has now shifted her focus to bringing Vanstock Alaska into fruition. Alaska’s First Vanlife and Traveler’s Festival. With over a decade of festival experience Lindra has seen a space in the industry that has needed to be filled. A true community focused event to showcase all Alaska has to offer. With self development at its roots you can find dozens of workshops, skill shares, music, artists, vendors and most importantly new friends from all over the world at Vanstock.
Lindra believes that in this day of social isolation, rising cost of living and housing insecurity and event like Vanstock can help educated people on different lifestyles that can meet there needs and connect individuals to an encouraging community.
